Who should book a 12 seater tempo traveller in Delhi?
A 12 seater tempo traveller is the right choice when your group is around 8 to 11 people and you want everyone in one vehicle without feeling packed. Think of a joint family heading to a hill station, a close-knit wedding party, or office colleagues going for a short break.
If you are 12 adults plus bags, the cabin can feel tight, so we usually suggest a step up in size. Share your headcount on call or WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly which tempo traveller seater fits better.
Is a 12 seater good for family trips and outstation travel?
Yes, a 12 seater is one of the most comfortable options for a family trip because there is room to stretch, and children and elders can be seated together. For outstation travel from Delhi NCR, it works well on trips to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Jaipur, Agra, Mathura-Vrindavan or the hills.
Everything is with driver, so you can relax on the highway instead of driving through traffic. Tell us your stops in advance and we will plan halts for meals and rest. Long hill routes are best planned with a day or two of buffer.
Can I book a 12 seater tempo traveller for a wedding?
You can book a 12 seater tempo traveller for a wedding to carry close family, the groom's or bride's side relatives, or guests between hotel, venue and railway station. It is handy where roads near the venue are narrow and a larger bus cannot go.
For a large baraat, many families book two or three travellers together instead of one big bus, so each group travels with its own driver. See our wedding transportation page, and book early during the wedding season.
How much luggage fits in a 12 seater tempo traveller?
Luggage space in a 12 seater is usually enough for a few medium suitcases or backpacks for a short trip, but exact space depends on the model and seat layout. Confirm this at booking.
If every passenger carries a big suitcase for a long tour, tell us in advance. We may suggest a carrier arrangement or a different vehicle, so that nobody has to hold bags on their lap. Pack soft bags where possible, as they fit better than hard cases.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How many people can sit in a 12 seater tempo traveller?
A 12 seater tempo traveller is made for about 12 passengers, not counting the driver. For comfort with luggage, 9 to 11 people is a good size. Seat layout can differ by model, so please confirm the exact layout when you book with us.
Do you provide a driver with the 12 seater tempo traveller?
Yes. Every Gautam Tour Travels vehicle goes with an experienced driver. We do not offer self-drive. We share the vehicle and driver details with you before the trip, so you know who is picking you up.
Can I book a 12 seater tempo traveller for a one-day local trip?
Yes, local sightseeing and event bookings in Delhi NCR are possible. Tell us your pickup time, places and approximate hours, and we will quote accordingly. For same-day trips like Agra or Haridwar, an early start is advisable.
Is the 12 seater AC?
Our tempo travellers are generally air-conditioned. Since the fleet has different models, please ask for an AC vehicle when you enquire and we will confirm it along with your quote. AC is especially helpful on summer highway and hill-road journeys.
How early should I book for a wedding or long weekend?
Book as early as you can. Wedding season, Char Dham season and long weekends fill up fast. We take bookings by call, WhatsApp or the website form, and phone support is available 24x7, though vehicle availability depends on dates.
Who pays toll, parking and state tax on an outstation trip?
Toll, parking and state tax are typically charged as per actual unless your quote says otherwise. We also assist with permit paperwork where required. Ask us to spell out what is included in the quote before you confirm.
